What documents do I need to sell my car in California?

You'll need your California Certificate of Title, signed by you as the seller, with the odometer disclosure completed for vehicles under 10 years old. You get a check handed to you at the time of pickup—on the spot, right when your car is picked up. We don't mail it later, we don't do wire transfers. Check in hand, same day as pickup.
